Mission
Pair up using Mikogo and try to find out how you may influence the dropping balls.
Report bugs you find (in either of the applicatrions) to Bug Repository until 4.30pm UTC.
Testers: Tejas Shah, Venu, Samir Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Artyom Silivonchik, Michael Larsen, Eusebiu Blindu, Ajay Balamurugadas, Markus Gärtner
Markus Gärtner facilitated the discussion afterwards.
Michael Larsen and Tejas Shah reported that they explored Mikogo and found some neat features for pairing, like sharing the control, and a whiteboard where the pair could put session notes. However, they also found a bug on the whiteboard, resulting in a cleared whiteboard once the second testers tried to put something in there.
Ajay Balamurugadas and Venu reported that they found a show-stopper bug earlier, before getting to the whiteboard. They had set up a circular session, where person A hosted B, B hosted for C, and C was also joining in A’s session as a viewer. By then they noticed a delay when taking over controls from a remote screen. The delay got more severe as the second passed on the controls to the third person. Additionally the third person was able to control just the screen of the second person, but these changes were not reflected on the initial host.
Artyom Silivonchik and Samir Kumar reported that they made very poor experiences of both tools. The ball dropping game was not working for Samir on IE at all, and the lack of chatting in Mikogo forced them to switch between applications to exchange thoughts.
The groups’ consense was to use Mikogo for a quick and dirty look on something, but not to use it for pairing. Ajay mentioned that he wanted to take a look into the application some more, others preferred other products.
