An excellent exercise on questioning skills. I guessed the theorem right, but kept mapping it to individual R, G, B values instead of the Hex color code. Obviously, I was wrong, but learned how to come up with questions [CLUE given: The numbers on the R, G, B fields are the numbers which form a theorem specific to a type of triangle]. I lost the answers, but not the lesson. Thank You.
Asking binary questions is a problem when all you get as an answer is a Yes or No.
E.g. Do you like it or not? Yes. a) Yes to like OR b) Yes to dislike. This is one of the major traps that bugs some of us. And… it is important to fight this trap!
I must congratulate Ajay for handling the session very intelligently and answering questions smartly.
Great Stuff,
Parimala Shankaraiah
Thanks Parimala.
My questions would be on the lines of:
Can you answer if you like it or no?
Yes/No
Depending on Yes/No, the next question is framed.
My strategy in such exercises: Observe other questions & then frame based on those answers. Don’t jump in. There’s lot of time 🙂
