WTA-64: Information Radiation w/ XMind

WTA-64: Information Radiation w/ XMind

WTA-64: Information Radiation w/ XMind

Date: August 8, 2015
Time: 1PM EST / 10AM PDT

Pre-Session Setup

Use Xmind either on the web or download a version to your device. Any mind map tool would work, but for consistency, we will be focusing on the features in XMind.

Session Details

This is a follow-on to the tutorial I attended at CAST with Dhanasekar Subramaniam. He used mind maps to rapidly and effectively communicate information as to testing charters, sessions and projects by using Xmind and the various tags that are offered by the application. We discussed the fact that these mind maps, and the labels we apply, could be displayed on monitors around an office and act as information radiators. Our session will revolve around experimenting with this process, as well as discussing the value and methods of Information Radiation in general.
