EWT42 – Testing speech input

EWT42 – Testing speech input

Date: Saturday, April 30, 2011

Time: 15:00 UTC

Attendees: Mira Razman , Gagan Talwar, Mohammed Haleem,  Akanksha talwar, Mohinder Khosla, Nitin Purswani , EswaraRao,  Ahmed Mubbashir Khan and Eusebiu Blindu (host) . Michael Bolton appeared in the session later with a great contribution.

The mission was :

Test Google Chrome Beta functionality related to speech input

It turned out it was a more complicated and larger mission than expected, but still useful.

In addition it tried to introduce an example of Google bounty program. Also a very useful tool http://www.satisfice.com/tools/log-watch.zip

One of the problems encountered was setting up the environment.

Some of the scopes of the session were met and others need to be improved in the future.  Michael suggested one of his posts http://www.developsense.com/blog/2010/09/test-framing/ as a guide in a similar session.

Nitin gave a nice report also http://weekendtesting.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/ewt42_nitinpurswani.txt
